Owners in their own words

Seven owners share their experience on video. Watch their stories on our home page.

  • Jack Huang: Jack, an owner for a year and a half, admits he was sceptical at first. The openness of his first conversation with the team won him over, and he values the sustainability angle and how little he has to think about it.
  • Patricia Lee: Patricia bought her unit about five years ago. She likes the eco-friendly, close-to-nature concept, a responsive team and a straightforward contract, with her rental arriving on time every month.
  • Ong Kaifen: Kaifen, an owner for about three years, says Big Tiny under-promised and over-delivered. She is drawn to eco-tourism and sustainability, and values the owner events that keep her in touch with the company.
  • Joyce Ong: Joyce has been with Big Tiny from the very beginning. She likes that it supports eco-tourism and sustainable building, and says the relationship with the team has continued long after the sale.
  • Jimmy Kwang: Jimmy, a retiree and an owner for over two and a half years, researched Big Tiny for years before joining. He has not missed a monthly payment, and has stayed in a Tiny Away house near Adelaide himself.
  • Pauline & Ming Cherng: Owners from the early days, Pauline and Ming Cherng studied in Australia, so the locations made sense to them. They talk about what reassured them in the agreement, and a stay at a Tiny Away Escape.
  • Benjamin Lim: Benjamin, who works in IT and loves nature and Australian farms, met founder Adrian to learn how the houses are built and delivered. He values the regular company updates from his sales partner.
